I'm Jen, and I write emotionally charged domestic suspense featuring flawed women, tangled relationships, and decisions that spiral just a little too far. If there’s a bad choice to be made, my characters will absolutely make it—and then spend the rest of the book dealing with the fallout.
The After Ever series was born from my love of reimaginings, whether they're literary (Little Women is a fave!), mythology, or fairy tales. I grew up watching Disney movies, and vividly remember all the VHS tapes lined up on our TV stand.
Now, I'm a mom of three, and re-watching these beloved films sparked an idea: What if my favorite childhood princesses were modern-day women? From there, the idea grew…and grew. From one book to three.
These books take familiar fairy tale echoes and drop them into the modern world, where love, ambition, and survival don’t follow a script. Because real life doesn’t come with a glass slipper moment—it comes with choices, consequences, and the occasional very inconvenient secret. While their stories are anything but perfect, I hope readers will feel the nostalgia from "once upon a time."
Maybe you'll see a piece of yourself in one of these women. Maybe you'll cheer them on, or want to shake them, or race through the pages to find out their fates. Either way, I'm grateful you've found my books.

I ran my first (and only?) marathon in 2025. RIP to my knees.
I have a massive sweet tooth. Will devour a pint of Ben & Jerry's like it's my job.
Before I started writing full time, I taught fashion merchandising at my alma mater, Mercyhurst University. I have degrees in fashion and textiles.
I'm scared of birds…or basically anything with flapping wings. Yes, even butterflies.
